MIT solar energy storage technology
MIT researchers have made a solar energy storage breakthrough.

The process inspired by plant behavior uses energy from the sun to breakdown water into hydrogen and oxygen gases. These gases are then provide an on-demand to power a fuel cell.

The solar energy storage technology can also be used to improve traditional PV solar panels increasing their efficiency by as much as 50%.
